Creating Your First Proxy
Set up your first sub-user and start using proxies in minutes.
What is a Sub-User?
A sub-user is a proxy credential — a username and password pair that you use to authenticate with the proxy gateway.
Quick Setup
- Go to the Proxies page in your dashboard
- Click Create Sub-User
- Give it a name (e.g., "scraper-1")
- Choose a location (country, city, or ISP)
- Set a traffic limit (optional)
- Click Create
Using Your Proxy
After creation, you will see the proxy connection details: host, port, username, and password. Use these in your application or browser to route traffic through ProxyHat.
